In fact, not being familiar with the author, I looked him up to see if he was Australian or from somewhere else in the southern hemisphere.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-897228097627164771.post-87005694182510726762015-08-15T07:37:59.390-07:002015-08-15T07:37:59.390-07:00madamevauquer,

And I was so hoping for enlightenment!

Part of my problem might be that I haven't experienced here in Tucson a cold breath in an August night-wind. Night-winds don't turn cool around here until October. That's when the first signs of cooler weather appear.

I liked it also--a very quiet, restful poem with but a tinge of something lurking in the corner--perhaps an omen of Fall and then, inevitably, Winter.Fredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10233846613173866140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-897228097627164771.post-90835409211152253412015-08-15T07:36:38.794-07:002015-08-15T07:36:38.794-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Fredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10233846613173866140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-897228097627164771.post-20323109917541640272015-08-14T18:52:10.707-07:002015-08-14T18:52:10.707-07:00I like it, Fred. When you solve the puzzle of Wallace Stevens, let me know. He remains for me too opaque and incomprehensible. My mind turns to lesser challenges these days. But I look forward to hearing about your solutions.R.T.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13220814349193561823noreply@blogger.com
