ReplyDeleteAn auspicious day for sure.
Beethoven's Violin Concerto is the sort of thing once heard, never forgotten. A gorgeous piece of music.
I once heard my little daughter (who pretended she didn't pay attention to my love of the classics) walking around the house whistling part of the Violin Concerto.
I thought: Well, my work here is done.
Ha.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Fred.
Yvette,
ReplyDeleteDid you know that Beethoven had transcribed the Violin Concerto in D for the piano? It's sometimes called the Sixth Piano Concerto. If you love the Violin Concerto, you should listen to this version.
And a very Merry Christmas to you and yours, also.
